National Library Legislative Day - Held annually in May, this event, held by the American Library Association, brings librarians, patrons, trustees, educators, and parents to Washington, D.C. to meet with members of Congress to discuss key library issues and champion national library funding. Also, during this two-day event, advocates gain valuable advocacy training and hear briefings of current national issues.
