Advocacy Tip Sheet

As part of the Everyday Advocacy campaign, the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) gave away buttons with a call to action between January and June of 2015.

The buttons, emblazoned with the slogan “Creating a Better Future for Children through Libraries,” were available at the 2015 ALA Midwinter Meeting in Chicago and the 2015 ALA Annual Conference in San Francisco.

While the button campaign has ended, the tip sheet that was attached to each button is still available! Created by ALSC's Advocacy and Legislation Committee, the tip sheet (PDF) includes talking points to help Everyday Advocates articulate the value of youth library service.
