I have purchased an old coffee box with an American beauty label but it looks all stained. Is there a way to clean it to improve the way looks? Thanks, Karon
A. Dear Karon,
I love old coffee and tea tins with their decorative labels too. Unfortunately, trying to clean the paper label could so easily end in heartbreak. It is extremely difficult to do while the label is on the can and even harder to get the label off in one piece, cleaned, and put back on. The best thing to do is to leave it alone and enjoy its beauty marks unless you have several to play with and you don't care if it doesn't work out. Good luck!
