Description & History

TeenTober™ is a nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October and aims to celebrate teens, promote year-round teen services and the innovative ways teen services helps teens learn new skills, and fuel their passions in and outside the library.

This website provides teens with free mental health resources to encourage mindfulness and provide stress relief.

Smithsonian Fun Stuff For Kids and Teens
The Smithsonian has free, fun activities such as coloring pages, animal cams, and science activities.

Yoga with Adriene
Teens can enjoy free yoga videos for every situation.

Free Online Courses
Teens have access to 1,700 free online courses from the top universities and colleges. This page includes Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). To enroll in a free version of a MOOC, select the “Full Course, No Certificate” (edX) or “Audit” (Coursera) option.
