Book & Media Awards Ceremony (Midwinter Conference)
RUSA’s premier event at ALA Midwinter where the year’s best in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, audiobook narration, and reference materials, featuring the Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction. Winners are hand-picked by our expert selection committees that work closely with adult readers. Their tireless efforts narrow down hundreds of finalists to curate the highly regarded “Best of” lists used by librarians, publishers and booksellers nationwide.
Awarded Lists & Medals: Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction, Notable Books List, Reading List, Listen List: Outstanding Audiobook Narration, Sophie Brody Medal, Dartmouth Medal, Outstanding Reference Sources
Literary Tastes (Annual Conference)

Programs- Juried programs approved by the RUSA Conference Planning Coordinating Committee
Discussion Groups- A meeting of the Division/Section/Committee to discuss topics based on the needs of their members.
Meetings- Section all-committee meetings to discuss the business of the section
While members are welcome and encouraged to solicit sponsorship, the final agreement must be made with the RUSA office. Questions can be directed to the appropriate RUSA Staff member.
