Charge
To adopt a long-range view of conference planning activities, and applying that view to:

Set the direction of upcoming and future conference parameters by adjusting to the RBMS community’s needs,

Identify RBMS conference sites/hosts, and work with individuals and institutions to develop and submit proposals for review,
-
Make recommendations regarding proposal selection to the Executive Committee in a timely manner,
-
Serve as an agent of continuity by maintaining the Conference Planning Manual
-
Encourage program proposals for the ACRL Conference.
