ALA scholarships make a difference

With a gift to the ALA scholarship program you can make a difference in the career of an aspiring librarian and make a statement about the value of library and information studies.

Since 1970, ALA has assisted aspiring librarians by awarding scholarships towards tuition at an accredited master's degree program in library and information studies. ALA and its units provide more than $300,000 annually in scholarships. Annually, the ALA Scholarship Clearinghouse receives more than 800 applications.
