Teen Read Week™ Logo Use Guidelines:

Libraries & other Not-for-Profits:YALSA grants permission to libraries and other nonprofits to use the Teen Read Week™ mark and logo in conjunction with their Teen Read Week™ activities, so long that neither is used for profit and that YALSA is properly credited.

Corporations & For-Profit Entities: Prior permission and licensing must be obtained before use of the mark and/or logo will be granted. Corporations cannot, however use "Teen Read Week™" or the logo in the names of their contests, initiatives, events, continuing education opportunities, etc. without prior permission from YALSA. Corporations who wish to participate in and/or publicize Teen Read Week™, are encouraged to contact noconnor@ala.org and to review YALSA's Logo Use Policy. To download the logo, hover over it, right-click, and choose "Save As" or "Save Link As.."


Publicity Kit

YALSA has created a number of publicity resources for you to use to promote your library's Teen Read Week involvement. For your convenience, we've created a downloadable, customizable toolkit for you to use.

The toolkit includes:

  • a sample press release
  • scripts for public service announcements
  • sample letters to the editor (one from teens, one from parents)
