COSWL, Committee on the status of women in librarianship, Librarians for gender equityALA's Committee on the Status of Women in Librarianship (COSWL) presented a free webinar on February 2, 2021, “How Employers Can Support Library Workers Who Are Caregivers During COVID-19.” Presenters explored how employers can create emotionally healthy workplaces with relevant policies and procedures; how employers can provide flexible schedules as well as work expectations; and how employers can assist staff who are taking care of children and/or parents during this time of COVID-19. The session was moderated by Loida Garcia-Febo, Chair of COSWL.
