Charge
The Programming Committee develops and facilitates EMIERT programming for ALA Annual Conference, such as the Chair’s program, discussion groups, etc. as well as other programming opportunities throughout the year. Works with Board to plan EMIERT Midwinter and Annual socials (identify location in proximity to conference center, make appropriate reservations, communicate details of social to EMIERT chair and vice-chair for inclusion in conference scheduler, publicize social to EMIERT membership and others through EMIERT and other listservs, and social media.)

Composition
Members of this committee are appointed from EMIERT membership. Members serve two year terms. The committee is chaired by the EMIERT Executive Board Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect.
