PLA's field-driven initiative, Project Outcome, is a FREE online toolkit offering an innovative and easy-to-use platform for public libraries to measure the impact of their programs and services. For the first time, public libraries have access to an aggregated set of outcome measurement data and analysis tools they can use to affect change within their communities and beyond. This on-demand webinar provides an overview of the toolkit and examples of how libraries have been able to benefit from using Project Outcome.

Third in a series of three webinars designed to help library leaders and staff turn their Project Outcome results into action. This on-demand webinar builds upon previous sessions about good practices for communicating about data and developing effective messaging; it focuses on how to incorporate Project Outcome survey results into grant applications. In fall 2016, Project Outcome will begin offering a regional training workshop designed to be a deep dive into implementing outcome measurement using Project Outcome tools. This regional training opportunity will bring an expert Project Outcome trainer to regions across the United States and Canada. This archived webinar is an informational session that shares the details of what is being included in this regional training, identifies the benefits of offering a regional workshop in your area, and explains the costs involved.

This on-demand webinar features a panel of Project Outcome users who share their experiences, including success and challenges, in surveying adult programming using the Project Outcome Education/Lifelong Learning and Digital Learning surveys. While the focus was on surveying adult programming, the lessons learned and challenges faced will be applicable to all program types.

This on-demand webinar is designed to teach participants how to administer Project Outcome surveys to measure outcomes for their library’s summer reading program. By successfully administering surveys, libraries will be able to use the results to showcase program successes and influence future summer reading programs.
