CHICAGO — Authors Angie Thomas and Jason Reynolds and illustrators Ekua Holmes and Christopher Myers join American Libraries for a special live taping of the Dewey Decibel podcast at the 2019 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Washington, D.C.

The panel, to be held at the PopTop Stage inside the Walter E. Washington Convention Center at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, features past Coretta Scott King (CSK) Book Award winners and honorees, in celebration of the awards’ 50th anniversary. Thomas ("The Hate U Give"), Reynolds ("As Brave as You Are"), Holmes ("The Stuff of Stars"), and Myers ("Black Cat") will discuss the awards’ cultural and historic significance, as well as their respective CSK Award-winning books.
