Call for nominations for IFLA section committees for 2019-2023 is now open

CHICAGO — The ALA International Relations Committee (IRC) is seeking nominations to section standing committees of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). The selected representatives will serve 2019-2023.  Details on the ALA nomination and selection process can be found in the IFLA nominations site.
Any ALA member is eligible to seek nomination from ALA to an IFLA standing committee.  Nominees should be an expert in the field covered by the section standing committee.  Nominees are expected to attend meetings of the section standing committee without cost to IFLA or to ALA.
Individuals can only serve on one IFLA committee at a time. Candidates can serve on a committee for up to two consecutive four-year terms. For a current list of representatives, please visit the IFLA standing committees and ALA representatives site.
