As the world goes increasingly digital, the climate surrounding information politics becomes increasingly convoluted. Libraries are caught in the heart of these tangled issues.  Information issues impact libraries in no small way.

This webinar explains what the current political climate means for library ethics and how you as a librarian can encourage change for the better. We'll cover the ALA Library Bill of Rights and Professional Code of Ethics, as well as library initiatives around the world to bring attention to various aspects of library ethics including privacy, threats to intellectual freedom, free speech, and freedom of information access. Librarians have the power to shape the future; learn how you can be a force for positive change in your community.

This webinar addresses ethics, one of LLAMA’s 14 Foundational Leadership Competencies.
