Crisis Communications for Libraries

Wednesday, 6/10/2020
  • 2:30 PM-4:00 PM (Eastern)
  • 1:30 PM-3:00 PM (Central)
  • 12:30 PM-2:00 PM (Mountain)
  • 11:30 AM-1:00 PM (Pacific)

A crisis is any situation that threatens the integrity or reputation of your organization.
Many public and academic libraries don't have a strong, up-to-date crisis communications plan. As institutions who serve the community, we have an obligation to be prepared for potential crises and communicate clearly and effectively. Creating a plan can reduce anxiety and increase confidence for libraries.
