LLAMA webinar presents best practices for accessible and inclusive marketing

Outreach and marketing are vital for all types of libraries, but it can seem like an overwhelming challenge to ensure that promotional materials, online content and social media posts are inclusive and accessible to everyone. The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA) will presentBeyond Ticking Off the Boxes: Best Practices for Accessible and Inclusive Marketing,” on Friday, June 14, at 1:30-3:00 p.m. CT.

 

This webinar will offer best practices and tools to ensure that your library’s marketing is accessible, inclusive and effective for all members of your community. It will review free accessibility tools for designing print and online marketing materials, as well as methods for a more inclusive approach to outreach. Participants will learn concrete steps to improve their existing marketing practices and will discover new methods. The content is relevant to all types of libraries that have marketing activities.

 

This webinar addresses communication skills and marketing and advocacy, which are two of LLAMA's Foundational Leadership Competencies.
