Statement of Role, Purpose, and Function
The Committee publicizes, solicits, reviews and evaluates all international poster session submissions for annual conference and oversees their presentation.
The Call for ALA International Relations Round Table (IRRT) International Poster Sessions for the 2024 ALA Annual Conference has passed.
The IRRT International Poster Session Committee annually invites librarians from around the world to submit a poster on any topic relevant to librarianship, to be presented at the ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition.
Submissions are also invited from librarians in the US on any topic relevant to international populations, projects, and collaborations. All posters may highlight incubation and implementation of projects and initiatives including but not limited to proposal development, funding, formation of project teams and lessons learned; a research study; or a practical problem-solving effort.
