    This tutorial site makes use of cartoons, audio narration, sounds, and clickable words to teach phonics. Phonics rules and practice pages are included.

    This is the official site of the National Adoption Center whose mission is to expand adoption opportunities throughout the United States especially for kids with special needs and those from culturally different backgrounds. This site includes sections on famous people who were adopted, a homework section with information about family trees, tips for parents and teachers, and an adoption library that contains a list of books and movies dealing with the subject of adoption. Provides a realistic, factual feel for adoption and adoption issues.

A great place to begin exploring careers provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
