Teen Tech Week Wiki

The Teen Tech Wiki is the place to go to find information about things you can do for Teen Tech Week. It's also a place where you can add information about your (and your teen's) ideas and plans for Teen Tech Week.

YALSA decided to use a wiki for Teen Tech Week, because it is a web-based tool that promotes collaboration.  Wikis give users the chance to add and change content and work on developing projects and programs together. So, with the Teen Tech Week wiki you get a chance to find out what your peers are up to and you get to let them know what you are up to to.

You can find out more about wikis by reading about them at Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki - and in an article titled, "What's a Wiki? A Powerful Collaborative Tool for Teaching and Learning. That's What!", by Will Richardson in the November/December 2005 issue of Multimedia and Internet @ School.

If you want to start a wiki for your own Teen Tech Week celebrations the Resources page of the Teen Tech Week web site has information on tools you might use.
