Qualifications: YALSA members who must be able to attend both the Midwinter Meeting and Annual Conference of ALA.

Term of Office: 2 years

Function: To stimulate, encourage, guide and direct the research need of young adult library service; to compile abstracts, and disseminate research findings.

History: The Research Committee became a standing committee at Annual, 1980.
