Registration now open for YALSA's winter online courses! Register for Booktalks Quick and Simple or Power Programming for Teens, both starting Feb. 8 and lasting four weeks. Pricing starts at $135 per class.

Teen Tech Week registration is now open! Learn Create Share @ your library, March 7-13!

Advanced registration for ALA's 2010 Midwinter Meeting (Boston, Jan. 15-19) is now open! Advanced registration saves YALSA members $25 over onsite registration fees. Hurry! These rates expire on Dec. 4. 

Apply for one of YALSA's member awards and grants! YALSA awards more than $40,000 in grants and awards to its members for great reading programs, research, travel and more. Applications due Dec. 1.

Join YALSA for its special events at Midwinter! Sign up for the Midwinter Institute, "Libraries 3.0: Teen Edition" and Midwinter Social Event, "Games, Gadgets & Gurus." Register for both and save! Register through Midwinter registration (note: Midwinter registration is not required to attend the institute or social event). Want to add these events to an existing registration? You can add events two ways: (1) By phone: Call ALA Registration at 1-800-974-3084 and ask to add a workshop to your existing registration.; (2) Online: Add an event to your existing registration by clicking on this link. Use your log in and password to access your existing Midwinter registration and add events in the “Your Events” section (screen 6). Then simply check out and pay for the events you’ve added.

Apply for a 2010 Young Adult Literature Symposium Stipend! YALSA will award two stipends, worth up to $1,000, for travel and registration costs at the 2010 Young Adult Literature Symposium in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nov. 5-7, 2010. Applications are due Jan. 4.
