LLAMA ALA/IIDA Library Interior Design Awards
The ALA/IIDA Library Interior Design Awards are co-sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). This biennial competition honors excellence in library interior design and promotes examples of extraordinary design reflected through innovative concepts.
LLAMA ALA/AIA Library Building Awards
To encourage excellence in the architectural design and planning of libraries. Awards for distinguished accomplishment in library architecture by an architect licensed in the United States will be made for any library in the United States or abroad. Awarded by LAMA and AIA.

LLAMA Diana V. Braddom FRFDS Scholarship
The goals of the scholarship program are to offer librarians and/or staff members from all types of libraries an opportunity to learn new fundraising skills enabling them to increase funding to their libraries from public, private and corporate sources.
LLAMA Cultural Diversity Grant Guidelines
The goals of the grant program are to support the creation and dissemination of resources that will assist library administrators and managers in developing a vision and commitment to diversity, and in fostering and sustaining diversity throughout their institutions; to increase the representation and advancement of people of color in the field of library administration and management and to establish productive partnerships between LAMA and major national organizations representing minority interests; to strengthen the diversity of LAMA membership, committees, and officers and integrate diversity into all aspects of the Association's work.

Hugh C Atkinson Memorial Award
This award honors the life and accomplishments of Hugh C. Atkinson, one of the major innovators in modern librarianship, and recognizes outstanding achievements (including risk-taking) by academic librarians that have contributed significantly to improvements in the areas of library automation, library management, and/or library development and research.
LLAMA John Cotton Dana Library Public Relations Award
The John Cotton Dana Award, sponsored by H.W. Wilson, honors outstanding library public relations, whether a summer reading program, a year-long centennial celebration, fundraising for a new college library, an awareness campaign or an innovative partnership in the community. Winning entries from the most recent two years are available to borrow via interlibrary loan from the ALA Library.

LLAMA YBP Student Writing and Development Award
The LLAMA/YBP Student Writing and Development Award is given to honor the best article on a topic in the area of library administration and management written by a student enrolled in a library and information studies graduate program. The purpose of this award is to enhance the professional development of students of library and information studies through publication of the winning article in Library Administration & Management, the LLAMA magazine, and enabling the award recipient to attend the ALA Annual Conference.
