The American Library Association Annual Conference is the world’s largest and most comprehensive library conference and exhibition. During the conference, ASCLA offers day-long educational seminars, panel presentations, small group discussions, and many other opportunities for continuing education.

The ALA Midwinter Meeting is convened for the primary purpose of expediting the business of the Association. At Midwinter, ASCLA committees meet to work on their objectives, but there are also small group discussions and other opportunities for continuing education.

ASCLA professional development online will begin with "Selecting Spanish-language Materials for Adults:" Explore the diversity of the Latino community and learn practical tips to build Spanish-language collections. The course is tailored for non-Spanish speaking public library staff at all levels. Watch for link on left for more information including registration and tutorials on how ASCLA will provide online learning.
