Hi-Lo Books for Upper Elementary Grades - February 2009 A reading list dedicated to reluctant readers in grades 3-6, from the ALSC School-Age Programs and Services Committee.
Great Early Elementary Reads - May 2008 The ALSC 2007-2008 School-Age Programs and Services Committee recommends these titles for children who are just learning to read and beginning to read on their own. The books included were published between 2005 and 2008. However, many are part of a larger series that young readers will also enjoy.
