AASL's professional development opportunities are essential, valuable, and available to school library media specialists.

Increase avenues for timely access to professional information and best practices.

Increase usage of AASL professional development by nonmembers.

All stakeholders understand and recognize that the school library media specialist and school library programs are essential to teaching and learning.
