Come back to register beginning October 1, 2009 during Midwinter Advance Registration for these
Institutes and Optional Events for the 2010 Midwinter Meeting.
Come back to register on January 4, 2010 for the Annual Conference Preconferences and Special Events.
Advance Registration-Register for these Institutes and Optional Events at the time of Midwinter Advance Registration which begins on October 1, 2009.
Non-Members: Join ALA and Save!

Exhibits Only and Exhibits Supreme Registration
An Exhibits Only badge is $25 and is good for all 4 days of the exhibits (Friday evening, Saturday-Monday). The Exhibits Supreme badge is $50 and includes all 4 days of the Exhibits, plus the three Sunrise Speakers Series sessions. Exhibit Only and Exhibit Supreme badges will be available for advance registration as well as to purchase onsite. No refunds for Exhibits Only or Exhibits Supreme.
Confirmations
The ALA Registration will e-mail or mail a registration and housing confirmation. If you do not receive a written confirmation within one week, please email or call Experient, our customer service company, at 1-800-974-3084.
Badges
If your registration is received by the Advance deadline, your badge will be mailed to you no later than two weeks before the meeting. If you register online after the Advance deadline, or your registration was faxed or postmarked after the Advance deadline you will need to pick up your badge at the Will Call/Corrections Counter at registration in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Refunds and Cancellations
Substitutions are welcome at any time. Registration cancellations must be made in writing and postmarked or faxed by the cancellation deadlines below. No phone cancellations will be accepted. No refunds for cancellations postmarked after the cancellation deadlines below. No Exhibits Only or Exhibits Supreme refunds. Written requests for cancellation for the Advance Registration must be postmarked before the Midwinter Meeting Advance deadline (December 4, 2009) to receive a full refund minus $25 for administrative fees. Absolutely no refunds after the deadline.
Written requests for cancellation for the entire Bundle Registration must be postmarked before the Midwinter Meeting Advance deadline (December 4, 2009) to receive a full refund minus $50 for administrative fees. Absolutely no refunds after the deadline.
If you cancel the Midwinter Meeting Registration before the Midwinter Meeting deadline (December 4, 2009) but do not cancel your Annual Conference Registration your refund will be:

If you attend the Midwinter Meeting but cancel the Annual Conference Registration before the Annual Conference cancellation deadline (May 14, 2010) your refund will be:

Children's Policy
Strollers are permitted on the exhibit floor, but only if there is a child in them at all times. Unescorted children are not permitted on the exhibit floor. Children under the age of five must be restrained at all times (stroller, back pack, etc.). Any child over the age of five must have an Exhibits Only badge to be admitted to the exhibit floor. These badges are available at onsite registration for $25. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 16.
Meal Policy
Meals are not included with regular Midwinter registration. Some preconferences, workshops and banquets include meals as part of an additional ticket price. This information is included with the description of the event.
