I am currently ready "Children of Blood and Bone" by Tomi Adeyemi and" Tulalip, From My Heart: An Autobiographical Account of a Reservation Community" by Harriette Shelton Dover. And the MANY graphic novels my 7-year-old finds….

What do you as an academic librarian contribute to your campus?
As a librarian I view part of my role as listening for ways the library can be engaged in campus problem-solving, proactively joining the conversations, providing leadership, and encouraging collaborations that will directly benefit student experience. It is a joy to connect students and faculty with an array of resources and services that enhance their work.

I’ve always loved the ebb and flow of the academic year, the core tenets of librarianship we practice, and the opportunities to innovate and collaborate. In librarianship there are always new things to learn and people (like the students we serve) to learn from. Even after twenty years I’ve never gotten bored...
